Some Wildfoote for my Feet

Hello friends, and Happy Day After!

My friend Wendy surprised me with a little package that arrived the day before Xmas.  Inside, 2 skeins of Wildfoote.

As you can see, it is quite colorful.  These are going to be a gorgeous pair of socks one day.  Totally yummy!!

I also have a photo of my new kitchen to share. First a peek at what was there...

And this has now been replaced with a double stainless steel sink inside a wood cabinet, and that left wall looks like this....

Talk about night and day?  For 22 years I did not have flooring over the entire kitchen floor either.  But now I have a beautiful floor that looks like hard wood, but it is not.  And that horrendous drop ceiling is now gone too.  Thank goodness for that.  I am no longer able to get up there to clean them like I once did.  And now I don't have to worry about it.

This is the full kitchen, finished, or nearly finished.  Just a couple little things need doing and it will be complete.  The kitchen area is identical to what was there before, but it appears so much bigger now, with the light walls and floors and cabinets.  I am really enjoying this.

And before I close I just want to share a cute little rhyme with you.  You can read it here:

Enjoy and I wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!!

Take care and keep well......Sandie

Wow! What a huge difference! I'll bet it feels amazingly good! What's the old quote? A change is as good as a vacation.

That yarn is gorgeous, too. That will be a lively pair of socks!

Hoping your Christmas was, as mine was, a good one and that 2010 brings nothing but good things your way, Sandie! {{{hugs}}}
